Accelerated CCIE Security Study Group

When The first group meeting will be around July 7, 2005.
Where Contact the group leader for details.
Prerequisite You must have CCNP and CCSP or equivalent experience.  We will follow an extremely aggressive schedule.  We want to take the written exam in 1-3 months and the lab exam in 5-7 months. You must have hands-on experienced with CCNP and CCSP material in order to keep up.  We would like to make exceptions, but it would add 6-12 months to the schedule.

Lab workbook to be determined with group price negotiated.

Secure LAN Switching and ISDN Can you configure the correct features in response to identified threats?
Secure Routing Can you configure advanced routing features on multiple platforms?
Secure Devices Can you harden Cisco devices?
Firewalls Can you configure PIX and IOS firewalls?
IDS Can you configure IDS, PIX, and IOS?
VPNs Can you configure advanced VPNs on IOS, PIX, and VPN 3000 concentrator?
AAA Can you configure Cisco Secure ACS and multiple Cisco platforms?
Advanced Security Can you configure the protocols quickly, in the right order, with minimal notes?

Members in this group are expected to contribute to the group in some way (introduce new resources, share lab equipment, volunteer for tasks, etc.). A desire to thoroughly know the technology and equipment is a must. Be willing to continually access your progress and determine if you can keep up.
Comments We will need a meeting room for the meetings. The room will need an Internet connection for access to remote racks, an overhead projector to display the telnet sessions and Cisco documentation, and a white board for diagrams and discussion.
